Age 81, of Southside, PA.  Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, August 27, 2017.  Born on March 17,1936(St Patrick's Day) and so proud to be 100% Polish.  She was the daughter of the late Stella (Zajac) and Edward Gmys; sister of the late Florence (Gilbert) Mace; Evelyn (late Gordon) Dressler; Edward (Elizabeth) Gmys; also survived by many nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; great, great nieces and nephews.  She took pride in being a Godmother to Jeff Mace.  Cynthia Leddy, the late Brian Gmys, Darren Hurley and Shane McWilliams.  She was a graduate of St. Adalbert's and life time resident of Southside. She worked as a legal secretary for over 50 years.  She was known as "Aunt" to everyone.  Family and Friends received Thursday 2-8 p.m. at the John J. Gmiter Funeral Home, 119 South 15th Street, funeral prayer on Friday at 9:00 a.m. mass of Christian Burial, at St. Adalbert Church, Prince of Peace Parish at 10:00 a.m.
