Age, 98,on Sunday, July9,2017, of South Side.  Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Mary; brother, Stanley; sisters, Edith Gough, baby Stella, Victoria Bakalarczyk, Florence Szemray, Selma "Sally" Radzanowski and Helen Kowalski; beloved husband of the late Anna A. (Jencka) Kalupa; loving father of Regis (Sharon) Kalupa, Christine Kearney ; Claire Thompson; loving grandfather of Ryan (Vicki) Kearney, Jeffrey (Amy) Kearney , Gail Kalupa Roberts, Karen Kalupa and Kevin (Nicki) Kalupa; cherished great-grandfather to Ian, Alex, Alana and Violet.  Friends received at the John J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Ltd., 119 South 15th St., South Side on Wednesday from 2 - 8 p.m.   Funeral prayer on Thursday morning at 9 a.m.  Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalbert Church, Prince of Peace Parish, at 10 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to the Humane Society.  Leo was a WWII Army veteran.
