Age 82, on Monday, November 20, 2017, passed away peacefully.  Survived by devoted wife, Josie of 60 years; father of Kathy (Tim) Andreychek and Michael (Leslie) Hennessy; proud Pap Pap to granddaughter, Kelly (Ryan) Shoplik.  Rege served in the 101st Airborne and retired as a Detective with the Police Force of the City of Pittsburgh.  Preceded in death  by many siblings.  He loved his golf and the Penguins.  Rege will be greatly missed by his wife, family and friends.  Friends received at the John J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Ltd.,  119 15th St., South Side on Monday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Parkinson's Association.
