Age 65, on Monday September 25, 2017 formerly of South Side, died peacefully after a long battle with many illness.  Husband of Christine Novak; father of Christopher Marc and Matthew Novak;  stepfather of Michael Papariella and Jennifer Sootin; brother of Joan Vaulet; also survived by four grandchildren.  Friends received at the John J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Ltd., 119 South 15th Street, South Side on Friday from 2- 8 p.m.  Funeral Burial on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m.  Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalbert Church, Prince of Peace Parish at 10 a.m.
