Virginia Volberg, formerly of Southside, died peacefully on Tuesday September 26 after a long illness. Wife of the late Stanley Volberg; mother of Kenneth (Lisa) Volberg, Gary Volberg, and the late David Volberg; sister of Carol Carter and the late Bernard Bright, Dorothy Nickel, Ruth Meirs, and Flo Reed; grandmother of Katrina (Mark) Potzler, David Volberg, Jessica (Dennis) Pfeuffer, Brandon Volberg, and Damian (Andrea) Volberg. Virginia is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her loving companion Al Burnelis. Her greatest joys in life were her family and friends. She also loved to play Bingo. Her loving nature, kindness, and compassion for others will always be treasured by those who were fortunate to have known her.
