It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Pitulski, who lived a life full of love, laughter, and purpose. Born on December 17, 1943, and raised in the South Side Slopes of Pittsburgh, Carol’s kindness and unwavering spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She passed peacefully on January 14, 2025, leaving behind cherished memories that will continue to inspire us.
Carol was a graduate of Carlow College and worked in Chicago and Pittsburgh in food services and nutrition. Along the way, she made many lifelong friends with whom she loved spending time and traveling. She deeply valued these friendships, which were a significant and cherished part of her life.
Carol was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and all things Pittsburgh.
She now joins in heaven her beloved mother, Regina Pitulski; her father, Henry Pitulski; her sisters, Debbie Pitulski and Gloria Krawczyk; her brother, Robert Pitulski; and brothers-in-law, Richard Krawczyk and Robert Finnigan. She is survived by her loving sister, Christine Finnigan; her brother, John Pitulski (Lori); and sister-in-law, Janet Pitulski. Affectionately known as “Nuddy” by her great-nephews and nieces, Carol is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins, all of whom held special places in her heart.
Carol was a beautiful soul and will be missed deeply. We will remember Carol with gratitude for the joy she brought into our lives and the unending commitment to our family.
Above all, Carol's faith is what brought her strength and was the pillar of her spirit.
