Beloved wife of Melvin, devoted mother of Eve Elizabeth (Nizar Sandi) and Donald Patrick (late Joyce Pittman), doting grandmother of Bryam and Nadia Sandi and Jessica and Royal Pittman and great grandmother of Kennedy Michel as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Not only was she preceded in death by her husband, but also her parents Elizabeth Boyle Watkins and Hubert John Caley and sister Inez Hasson.

Connie was a graduate of Mount Mercy Academy and Point Park Business Training College. She worked at J&L Steel for VP Paul L. Tietjen and enjoyed teaching ballroom dancing in her free time. After marriage, she joined her husband at his Army Post and began her family.
