Darrell J. Lewis (Head Coach). Age 84, Pittsburgh (Friendship) on Sunday, April 19, 2020. Beloved husband of Donna Mangold. Loving father of Kim (Jeff) Gottschalk, Debbie (Greg) Miller, Heidi Lewis, Heather Lewis; and Grandfather of Christian Miller; Brother of the late Kenneth and Mark Lewis. Darrell was a veteran and served in the US Army. He was a proud undergraduate from the University of Pittsburgh where he also earned a degree in dentistry. Darrell was the quarterback and a member of the Pittsburgh Panther football team (1953-1957) playing in both Gator and Sugar Bowls. He was the head football coach at Waynesburg University, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania (1968-1972). Darrell was an avid golfer and fan of all Pittsburgh Sports Teams, especially Pitt. No visitation due to COVID-19 virus. A celebration of Darrell's life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
