Dolores Buzar Sulick 86 of Greentree passed away Wednesday December 1, 2021 peacefully in her Greentree residence. She was Born April 7, 1935, in Ambridge Pennsylvania to her late parents Anthony and Anna Perdinsky Buzar. She was preceded in death by her husband John Sulick, Brothers Stanley and Georgie Buzar, sisters Tillie Ogrodnik and Florence Ebert. She is survived by her sister Mildred Barie of Pittsburgh and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Dolores was a nurse until the day she passed away. She was a graduate of the Southside Hospital School of Nursing and continued her nursing education at Duquesne University. She obtained a bachelor’s in nursing as well as two master’s degrees. She was awarded the Cameo of Caring award for Nursing in October of 2002. She was a big supporter of Light of Life Mission and the ASPCA, as well as several other charities. She was a long-time member of The Greentree Women’s Club. In leu of Flowers Donations are requested to the Light of Life Mission of Pittsburgh. Friends received at the John J. Gmiter Home, Ltd. on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 3-8 pm. Blessing service on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10 am.
