Elisabeth R. Wesolowski

Elisabeth Wesolowski, formerly of South Side, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2023.  Wife of the late John A. Wesolowski.  Mother of Ray (Nancy), Jack (Judy), and Steve (Michelle) Wesolowski.  She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 5 sisters.  Grandmother of Ray (Andrea), Joe (Becky), Nicole (Garett, Sr.) Vanscoy, Cory (Brytnee), Ryan, Krysten (Arthur) McCague, Savannah, Jason, and Eric.   Great-Grandmother to many great-grandchildren.   She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Elisabeth was a professional seamstress at South Side Hospital.  Elisabeth was involved in many activities including bingo, and she enjoyed knitting and crocheting.  She was also a member of the Christian Mothers and New Generation Senior Group.  Friends received at the John J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Ltd., 119 South 15th Street, South Side on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.  Funeral prayer on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 9 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalbert Church, Mary, Queen of Peace Parish at 10 am.
