On Sunday, January 11, 2015, of South Side. Mother of Mary Ann (Randy) Gaysek and Paul Stone; proud grandmother of Rachael and James Gaysek. Friends received at the JOHN J. GMITER FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 119 S. 15th St. South Side, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9 a.m.  Mass at Christian Burial in St. Adalbert Church, Prince of Peace Parish, at 10 a.m.  Frances was a dedicated volunteer with the Christian Mothers and the Homestead Food Bank.  She was an active member of the Market House Senior Center and a proud participant in the Senior Olympics winning many medals.  She was an enthusiastic lifelong learner and a kind and gentle spirit.
