George Adams, Jr., age 84, on Monday, May 28, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Mary M. Adams; father of George Carom Adams, Jr. of Uniontown, PA, Richard (Karen) Boncek, and David (Deborah) Boncek; brother of Margaret Verbus, Franklin Adams and the late Kay Turney, Eleanor Rutter, and Annie Stoop; grandfather of Richard, Julia, David, and Adam; great-grandfather of Caryn and Rabeckah; also survived by nephews and close friends. Friends received at the JOHN J. GMITER FUNERAL HOME, 119 South 15th St., South Side, Wednesday 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral Prayers on Thursday morning at 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalbert R.C. Church, Prince of Peace Parish at 10 a.m. George was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran.
