John E. Vidal, Sr.

On Thursday, August 5, 2021, formerly of Mission Market.  Husband of Agnes Vidal.  Father of John, Jr., the late Joey, Edward (Christian), Emily (James and the late Puff) and Shannon (Matthew).  Also survived by numerous Grandchildren including Julia (Jerrome, Sr.), Christopher, Chaz, Amanda (Dale), Nathan (Pam), Darren (Frankie), Aedin, Mason, Savannah, Danielle, Bryce, Cierra, Joey, Marra and Dakota; and seven (7) Great Grandchildren: Brionna, Shelly, Jerrome, Jr., Zarly, John III, Dale, Jr. and Rigg.  Brother of JoAnn Dubensky, the late Joe and David.  John was retired from the U.S. Navy.  Friends received at the John J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Ltd., 119 South 15th Street, South Side on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm where a Funeral Blessing will be held at 1:30 pm.  Interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.  If attending the interment at the Cemetery, please be at the Funeral Home at 9:30 am.
