Age 80, on Sunday, June 3, 2018, Husband of Mary Szczerbiak and the late Mildred Sysak; Father of Joanne and Jeffrey; Stepfather of Derrick Shack; Brother of Charles (Philly) Sysak; Dear Uncle of Dr. Joshua (Laurie) Sysak, Andrew Sysak, Esq. and Dr. Elizabeth Sysak; also survived by five grandchildren and three great nieces. Friends and family received at the John J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Ltd., 119 South 15th Street, South Side, Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 10 am to 2pn. where blessing services will be held at 11 am.
