SYDOR, MICHAEL J.   Age 54, of Imperial, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015, in his home after a courageous battle with medical complications.  Michael was born December 12, 1960.  He is the beloved husband of Vickie (Blackburn), father of Ronald (Sasha) Blackburn; son of the late Marion Sydor and Joseph (Geraldine) Sydor; brother of Greg, Jeff (Mary Lou), Debra (Larry) Warner, Sandra (Dan) McEvoy, and Cheryl (Guillermo) Cole; Uncle of Jeffrey Sydor; cousin to Barbara and Beverly Rebovich and Denise and Jack McConnell; brother-in-law to Rebecca Gazda, Rayna Perpetua, Frank Maiolie, Roberta Deboer, and the late Robert Maiolie.   The JOHN J. GMITER FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 119 S. 15th St., Pittsburgh, PA 15203 has been entrusted with the arranements, Visitation from 2-4 and 6-8  p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2015, followed by a Monday 9 a.m. service at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 1720 Jane St, Pittsburgh, PA 15203 with Father Tom Schaefer officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Brownsville Road, Carrick.
