Michael Kurpil, Jr.

On Tuesday, December 7, 2021, of Pittsburgh.  Partner of Ewa Hughes.  Stepfather of Richard Hughes, Matthew Hughes and Heather Matthews.  Brother of Maria Szwarc.  Uncle of Melissa, the late Brian, and Michael.  Also survived by Jeffrey, Kristen, and Evalynn.  Great Uncle of Krista and EJ.  Friends received at the John J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Ltd., 119 South 15th Street, South Side on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm with a blessing service to be held at 7:30 pm.  In lieu of flowers,the family suggests donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org).
