Nicholas Frick, Jr., of Knoxville, PA and Apex, NC. Nick passed away on September 1, 2023 at the age of 66 after almost a year of fighting to stay alive. He is a much loved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Brother-in-Law, Uncle, Great Uncle, Good Friend and Co-Worker! Nick is survived by his Wife Cheryll, Son Anthony, and Daughter Megan. Nick is also survived by his Sisters Theresa Kepple, and Marie Frick, plus Nieces and Nephews. He is the Son of the late Helen and Nicholas Frick of Knoxville, PA. Brother of the late Angela Marino, Beatrice Frick, Michael Frick, and Brother-in-Law John Kepple. He is also survived by all of Cheryll's Family, Friends, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Nick and his family lived in Apex, NC. Nick grew up in the Knoxville area of Pittsburgh. He graduated from Carrick High School in 1975. He went to Edinboro State College in Edinboro, PA where he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He lived in the Virginia Beach area for a few years, and then came back to Pittsburgh where he worked for the Beer World stores. Nick then moved to North Carolina where he worked in the the Total Wine & More stores. His last store was in Cary Crosswords in Cary, NC. Friends received at the John J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Ltd., 119 South 15th Street, South Side on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 9:30 am at the Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, Saint Albert the Great Church at 10:30 am.
