Nicholas A. Fuga III was born December 19, 1936 and entered into eternal life August 8, 2024. Son of the late Nicholas and Mary (Smoley) Fuga. Beloved husband of Susan (Dietzen) Fuga. Brother to Mary Ann Barth, Nancy Sciechowicz, and Robert and his wife, Jackie Fuga. Brother-in-law to Alan and his wife Laurie Dietzen. Beloved Uncle to Shannon and Josh Swails, Shawn and Megan Fuga, Sheena and David Hendricks, and Shane and Kim Fuga. Great Uncle to 5 great-nephews, and 4 great nieces. Nick was a professional product photographer at Kaufmann's Department Store for 21 years, and 12 years at Fisher Scientific. He sang in the St. John Damascene Choir, Holy Ghost Choir for 25 years in Philadelphia. He was active in bowling leagues with family and friends. Nick was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in South Side, Pittsburgh. Friends and family received at the John J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Ltd., 119 South 15th Street, Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 6-8 pm, Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Divine Liturgy at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 1720 Jane Street, South Side, on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
