On Wednesday, April 29, 2015, of Carrick.  Fiancé of Karen Sergie; foster son of Peggy Bupp and family; grandfather of Brody F. Stark and Asher A. Stark; other special family members include, Matthew J. Stark and Lauren Stark; cousin of Audrey Schwartz (Jennings) family; and beloved pet, Tazzy.  Friends received at the JOHN J. GMITER FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 119 S. 15th Street, South Side on Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  Funeral services on Sunday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. in the Spencer United Methodist Church, 117 Spencer Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15227.  Tom was very active in church and various volunteer groups.  He was an avid cook, joke teller and pet lover.  Tom was genuine, happy and joyous with a great sense of humor.  Above all, Tom loved all people and did his best to do God's will.  Contributions in his memory may be made to Spenser United Methodist Church.   www.gmiterfuneralhome.com
