Thaddeus "Ted" F. Hrapla

Age 93, of South Side, on Thursday, March 22, 2018.  Beloved Husband of Dolores "Dolly" (Lucas) Hrapla; Uncle of Ray (Mary) Lucas, Dave (Val) Lucas, Cyndi, Richard, Jeffrey and Jerry Hrapla; Brother of deceased Walt, Ann and Frank Hrapla; Brother-in-Law of deceased Ray (Melva), Ralph (surviving Wife Betty), and Tony Lucas; also survived by many great and great-great nieces and nephews. He was an Army POW in World War II and a Purple Heart recipient.  He loved Pgh. sports, traveling and polka dancing.  Thanks to the loving staff at Paramount at Bethel Park.  Friends and family received at the John J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Ltd., 119 South 15th Street, South Side on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:00 a.m.  Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at 10:00 a.m.
